Botrivier Crèche

Yearly, the FNB Wines2Whales, with the support and help from sponsors and riders, generates over R1 million in value for our event initiatives, community partners and beneficiaries.

The FNB Wines2Whales has adopted various crèches in the town of Botrivier in a continued effort to give back to this impoverished community along the route of the event.

FNB Wines2Whales and its partners see this as an investment in the future of kids and schools to assist in providing quality and educational care. The project is aimed at the renovation, maintenance and supply of necessary items of and to crèches in the Botrivier community. An educational library has been established with the help of Big Box containers converted for storage and safely kept on Beaumont Wine Farm.

We believe that together with the riders and our partners’ support, a sustainable difference can be made to many more communities along the Wines2Whales route and beyond.

• 16 Educators
• 183 children currently attending the crèches
