In winter, snow sports are the main events, while the rest of the months are replaced by skyrunning, hiking and cycling. We suggest the ascent to the top of Comapedrosa, the highest peak in the Principality of Andorra, at 2,942 meters.
The view from this stone giant is truly spectacular. The Comapedrosa Natural Park, with an area of 15.42 km², offers a network of hiking trails and high mountain refuges so that everyone can design their own excursion. We invite you to discover the imposing high mountain landscapes and the native fauna and flora.
The Comapedrosa Interpretive Circuit is an interpretive itinerary of only 2 km and low level, so that everyone can be introduced to this fantastic space. In addition, the village of Arinsal houses the Comapedrosa Interpretation Center, where visitors can reach the summit virtually.
You cannot leave the Principality without visiting the Romanesque churches of Sant Cristòfol d’Anyós and Sant Climent de Pal, this church opens during summer.
Sant Cristòfol is located on a cliff, an idyllic place where the environment is as spectacular as the interior of the small Romanesque church.
On the other hand, the church of Sant Climent is in one of the most authentic villages in the Pyrenees, Pal, which takes us back to medieval times. The church, built between the 11th and 12th centuries, retains some of the original walls, such as an original granite baptismal font or a polychrome wooden cross.
We recommend that you discover the charming small villages of La Massana, located in the middle of an incomparable natural environment.
