A highlight in every sense, the shimmering Lej Alv glacier lake awaits with its glacier-blue waters and rugged beauty – a postcard moment burned into memory. From here, the pace picks up on the Olympia Flow Trails of St. Moritz: immaculately built, fast, and full of legacy. Next comes the Foppettas Flow Trail, a local favorite with tight corners and big grins, followed by a scenic cruise along the Engadin Skimarathon route – a trail of champions now reborn for two wheels. And when you hit the fast, flat riverside sections of the Flaz and Inn, it's time to open up and fly.
From ridgelines to race lines, Stage 2 delivers speed, scenery, and unforgettable moments in the high Engadin.

Time Trial: Ride Beneath Giants

Stage 3 turns up the intensity with a solo test against time – and gravity. Starting high on the iconic Bernina Pass at 2,305 m, you’re surrounded by glaciers and giants, including Piz Bernina, the highest peak in the Eastern Alps. The air is thin, the stakes are high, and the countdown begins.
Skirt the icy shores of Lago Bianco, a glacial lake whose turquoise calm contrasts with the adrenaline rushing through your veins. Then drop into the raw, untamed descent toward Morteratsch –
Towards Pontresina, the trail flows into dense alpine forest, where rhythm and timing are everything. The pace stays high, the terrain keeps you guessing, and your focus narrows to the line ahead. Before the final last climb glide past the tranquil Lej da Staz, a forest lake offering one last breath of alpine beauty before the clock stops in La Punt.
This stage is about precision, power, and poetry in motion – a high-altitude time trial through glacial history and pure trail speed.

Into the Wild

Stage 4 plunges you into the untamed beauty of Switzerland’s alpine wilderness. It begins in the Swiss National Park, where the trail winds through Val Trupchun — a rugged valley teeming with wildlife and raw natural power. Glacial rivers, steep cliffs, and the occasional ibex sighting set the tone for an unforgettable ride.
From there, the route rolls through the quiet, hidden charm of Val Susauna, a remote valley of forested flow, gravel paths, and pristine solitude. It’s the calm before the climb — and what a climb it is.
The legendary Scaletta Pass looms ahead at 2,606 m. This is the soul of the stage, a lung-busting ascent that rewards every pedal stroke with vast mountain views and the exhilaration of crossing from Engadin back to Davos.
Then comes the payoff: a high-alpine descent from Scaletta to Dürrboden, wild and technical, raw and fast — the kind of trail that defines the SPAR Swiss Epic. The final push leads from Dürrboden to Davos, flowing through forests and open meadows, with sweeping singletrack guiding you to the finish.
Stage 4 is where nature takes over — a journey through the Alps at their most powerful, pure, and unforgettable.

The Finale: Flow Above the Valley

Stage 5 brings the SPAR Swiss Epic 2025 to a powerful close – fast, scenic, and unforgettable. The day begins with the breathtaking Panorama Trail, a high-alpine traverse with sweeping views over the Landwasser Valley. Elegant, flowing, and exposed in all the right ways, it’s the reward for every climb that came before.
From the ridgeline, riders drop into the steep, technical Gotschnaboden Trail, a local favorite filled with roots, speed, and adrenaline – a test of precision and control. Then comes the scenic serenity of Wolfgang, a charming alpine hamlet surrounded by golden larch and flowing singletrack.
In the final third, the Drusatscha Trail delivers hidden joy: playful curves, mellow forest terrain, and just enough punch to remind your legs the finish is near. Finally, the stage – and the race – closes with the Flüela Trail, a flowing, fast descent that carries you back to Davos and across the last finish line.
Stage 5 is the perfect finale: high-altitude flow, fast descents, and a celebration of everything that makes the Alps – and this race – truly epic.
