ABSA CAPE EPIC
DO YOU HAVE
AFRICAN MTB RACE
Held over 8 days in March every year, the Absa Cape Epic covers 700km, climbs 15 000m and traverses South Africa’s spectacular Western Cape. Known as “the Tour de France of mountain biking”, the untamed African mountain bike race brings together top professionals and serious amateurs from around the world to race a new route every year. The ruggedly beautiful terrain, rocky climbs, thrilling descents, breath-taking scenery and premier full-service race comforts are now legendary in mountain biking circles – as is the unpredictability of the African elements, ensuring the challenge is nothing short of epic in anyone’s language.
